I would add: walk everywhere. It makes it easier to do most of the things on your list. Cars insulate people from the world (by design) and even a bike moves too fast to allow a person to interact (in a non-crash way) with what’s around them. The faster you’re going, the less you are willing to stop.

Starting a tradition is harder than it sounds, BTW. My Magic Christmas Blanket attempt is now in its 4th year with no signs of catching on.

And the Dawseng Blog is finally back! lol.

I practice some, not all, but hope to do more! Actually, I should say I plan to do more. Now, when people ask my why I still don’t have shades in my living area, I can now tell them “What? I’m building community here”.

We actually booked our trip through a hotel in Medan, I’m afraid that I don’t know about pricing these days, you’ll have to talk with someone in Indonesia or take a look at a guide book. Maybe try an internet search for organizations that run these trips (you may want to look up one of the hotels – I believe the Eco Lodge offered tours, but they were one of the more expensive places in the area to stay). The Jungle Inn was also a popular choice – also expensive, but they could likely arrange something for you.

Be prepared for a good workout! Those jungle hills are steep!! Good luck

I know… they could have used you in the marketing department (or the argument department…) but, I still support the organization and believe in what they are doing, so I won’t worry about how they advertise… (and, Mr. Hanley, most people don’t have brains like yours! ~ You are unique )

Cabbage ones are awesome I also make the farmers cheese ones 2lbs farmers cheese 2 eggs and 3 tablespoons sugar mix well together and fill .also a favorite in my household…
