Olympic Reporting from Ulaanbaatar

Out front of the State Department Store in Ulaanbaatar, Jonny, Colin, and I watched the men’s bantam weight gold medal bout between Mongolia and Cuba. Colin was the cameraman, I was the reporter, and Jonny was our technical support. This was Mongolia’s second ever gold medal in Olympic history, with it’s first coming about a week and a half earlier. The air was full of energy and everyone stopped what they were doing to watch the match. Badar-Uugan Enkhbat did not disappoint.

  1. Hey Geek, nice reporting skills there. I can only imagine the energy you guys experienced there while watching the match in the middle of the street. Looking forward to future reports of the life and times of Mongolia…

  3. Colin has dubbed us as ASUTV and has decreed that there will be more reports, so more will certainly follow!
